The elk in the herd are the result of superior genetics, with the original
source animals selected for their world class genetics, among the best
in the world. All the bulls and cows were from 400` genetics, with
many from much larger genetics. Additionally we purchased a very
rare white cow elk many years ago, that has had several calves that
carry her white trait. These white elk are not albino, and are very rare.

The vast majority is forested with a few open meadows. There is an
extensive trail system which provides very good access throughout the
property for hiking, operating atvs, horseback riding, cross-country
skiing, and more.
